Overview
Enjoy this adventure through the beautiful landscapes of the Sacred Valley, getting to know its main attractions and traversing the cloud forest on the train to reach Machu Picchu. The Huayna Picchu mountain, Wayna Picchu in Quechua (with an altitude of 2667 meters above sea level), is part of the eastern foothills of the Salcantay massif in Cusco, Peru. It is part of a large orographic formation known as the Vilcabamba Batholith, in the Central Cordillera of the Peruvian Andes, and is known mainly for being the backdrop of most panoramic photographs of the Inca archaeological remains of Machu Picchu. However, it is also home to important archaeological remains related to the famous Inca complex. You will find beautiful landscapes along the Sacred Valley on the first day, and important archaeological sites. You will visit an artisanal traditional market in Pisac. You will visit the Inca remains like Ollantaytambo and Pisac. On the second day, you will visit Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu. Your tour guide will uncover all the rich History involved. The main attraction, Machu Picchu, will cover all your expectations. The train round trip from Ollantaytambo /Aguas/Ollantaytambo is something unique.

Climb Huayna Picchu and tour Machu Picchu, then return to Aguas Calientes and take the train back to Cusco.
Itinerary
DAY 1: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY – AGUAS CALIENTES
We will pick you up from your Cusco Hotel around 07:30 am, then we will start our adventure. Our first stop after driving for a few minutes is the Sacred Valley Lookout Point, for amazing views and photos. Following, we will visit the famous Pisaq Market. We will continue the journey up to the Pisaq Inca Archaeological site. Our tour guide will take you to the most impressive spots. Then, we will drive along the valley for about 01 hour, until we reach Urubamba, where we will stop for lunch (Not Included). After lunch, we will drive to Ollantaytambo, where the second-heaviest Inca monoliths are to be found. This living Inca town displays narrow walkways, lined with water channels. Later in the afternoon, you will head to the train station and catch your train to Aguas Calientes. Our representatives will meet you just outside the train station upon arrival and lead you to your hotel.
DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU & HUAYNA PICCHU – CUSCO
Today you will visit Machu Picchu. You will be visiting the famous Sacred City of the Incas, and you will determine, with your tour guide, the best time to start your day. After a 25-minute bus ride to Machu Picchu and going into the Citadel of Machu Picchu, we will go to the gate of the famous Huayna Picchu Mountain to start the climb, where we will enjoy the view. Then we will have our guided tour of the most important places of the Machu Picchu Incan City. After the tour your will have
free time in Machu Picchu for some more photos, and then we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes where we can find a place to eat (not include a lunch). In the afternoon, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo and transfer back to your hotel in Cusco.
