Team Mountain warrior's trek to Macchu Pichu This was an amazing experience! My tour guide Luz Sàlas was absolutely phenomenal! She was so patient and reassuring and so knowledgeable in the history and culture of peru and Macchu Pichu and was so happy to share it all with the group. She made everything run smoothly and efficiently and was always encouraging! She was just so wonderful! Every day we were treated to the most delicious meals by our Chef Modesto, we were never hungry and always happy with what he prepared. We sometimes felt like we were at an upscale resturant. I also have to give a shout out to our porters and head porter César who I believe go above and beyond in carrying all the supplies, food and duffle bags around on their backs to each days destination. They work so hard! This team is A+ and anyone who is lucky enough to have them as their tour guides and support team will have the absolute best experience!! Much love to them all!!

A wonderful experience on the Inca Trail! Juan Carlos was an amazing guide. He was so patient and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed being in his presence, he always made sure we were putting our best foot forward on trail. Would highly recommended him as your Inca Trail guide! Our Chef, Modesto was also amazing every step of the way. He provided nutritious, tasty meals for our crew, breakfast , lunch and dinner. We looked forward to every meal. Cannot recommend him enough. Finally, Narciso and his team of porters. They were some of the strongest guys around packing our belongings up and down thousands of feet of elevation. Always passing us on the way up to make sure we had camp set up as we arrived. All great, friendly, gentlemen. Could not recommend enough, gracias por la aventura mi amigos!

Unforgettable Trip My daughter and I did this trip in September. Our guide, Yaritza (Ya Ya) was superb. Honestly, having her as our guide was a huge part of what made it such a wonderful experience. The rest of the Crossover Perú was also outstanding. Our chef, Modesto, and our porters (led by Narciso) were phenomenal and made us feel so well taken care of. The Inca Trail is challenging, but it was truly a bucket list experience for me. The scenery was special pretty much the entire time. Machu Picchu was awe inspiring.

Amazing Inca Trail Experience with Crossover Peru Overall this trip was an amazing experience, from the amazing landscape views including tall mountains, river cut valleys, cloud forest and high alpine environments to the archaeological sites that are all throughout the trail, each one providing a different view or perspective of the people who used them. I loved every second of this trip. The trip started early on day 1, waking up around 6 am to get to the trailhead from Ollantaytambo. I was surprised that we were the first ones on the trail that morning, but I think that this company made an effort to start early to beat the crowds and get the best camp sites. We hiked all day and arrived at camp in the evening to a fully made campsite and dinner ready within an hour. The following two days were similar, waking up early to beat the crowds and the heat, but getting an amazing reward in terms of the views and ability to visit the sites. We were also one of the first groups onto the trail on the fourth day which meant that we were one of the first groups to get to Machu Picchu on the fourth day. Our guide Juan Carlos was amazing the entire time, he was extremely knowledgeable about the trail and the history of the sites we visited. He was our trip leader but also an amazing interpretive guide. He always know how long it would take to get to a toilet, and to camp, and he kept us safe and on time the entire trip (no easy feat). Juan Carlos also entertained us throughout with nature facts, stories about the people and culture, and even magic! He also took amazing photos of us and knew where all of the best photo locations were. He was truly amazing. Our trip would have been nothing without the team of porters led by Narciso. Narciso's team of porters were efficient, professional, kind and helpful the entire time and always arrived and had camp set up for us when we got in for the evening. They worked extremely hard the 4 days we were on the trail to make sure that we had an amazing time and I can't recommend a more professional group of people. Last but certainly not least was Modesto our cook who prepared amazingly delicious, nutritious and variable food the whole trip, I was never hungry after a meal, and even think that most of the meals were better than what I have in my personal life. Overall, the trip was incredible and this team knew what the best camp sites were, got us there on time and did it extremely efficiently. If you want to hike the Inca trail you can't go wrong with Crossover Peru.

A unforgettable experience I wanted to challenge myself and as a novice hiker, I signed up for the Incas Trail all women’s hiking trip and I was guided by Yaritza. She was caring and helpful throughout my journey and she made sure that every one of us was taking care of. Unfortunately, we had two days of rain which made our hike that much more challenging. She reassured everyone that we would be able to finish and supported us throughout. Our chef Modesto was wonderful. He prepared our delicious meals daily with full spread and made our day that much better. I am grateful that I had Yaritza as our guide and Modesto to feed us and I will treasure this memory forever…

Incredible 4 day hike with the best team What an incredible experience with Crossover Peru! I just got back from the 4 day Inca trail hike and it was way better than I had expected. I got to travel with a passionate, knowledgeable guide, Juan Carlos. He made sure our entire group of 14 hikers felt safe and taken care of. He also remembered everyone’s dietary preferences and made sure everyone had proper food to eat. Being vegetarian, I was worried about not having sufficient food but I’ve honestly never been as well fed as I was in the mountains with Modesto as our amazing head chef. Modesto and his team prepared delicious meals three times a day and he always prepared separate vegetarian plates that I could eat. Lastly, many thanks to Narciso’s team of porters for carrying most of our loads on their backs so we didn’t have to worry about anything. They were all very kind, welcoming, and efficient. The entire trek would not be possible without their help and I’m grateful for them for allowing me to have the experience I did. Overall, I highly recommend this team, the whole experience would not have been the same without them!
