05:00 AM – Hotel Pick-up & Departure: Your adventure begins with a prompt early morning pick-up from your Cusco hotel. Relax in our comfortable, private transportation as we head south through the Andean landscapes.
07:00 AM – Breakfast in Cusipata: After a two-hour scenic drive, we will stop in the town of Cusipata to enjoy a hearty, energizing breakfast at a local restaurant.
Scenic Drive & Pomacanchis Lake: We continue our journey, passing by the stunning Pomacanchis Lake (situated at 3,600m / 11,811ft), offering excellent opportunities to observe the local flora and fauna.
The Qeswachaka Bridge Experience: Arrive at the iconic Qeswachaka Bridge spanning the Apurimac River. Experience the thrill of walking across the last remaining hand-woven Inca suspension bridge, an engineering marvel made from q’oya grass that is renewed annually by the local communities.
Qarañahui Cave Exploration: Next, we travel to the entrance of the massive Qarañahui Cave. You will be provided with all necessary safety gear (helmets, headlamps, and gloves) before descending with your guide to explore its deep chambers and admire the ancient stalagmite and stalactite formations.
02:00 PM – Local Lunch: After our underground expedition, we will head back to our local restaurant in Cusipata for a well-deserved, traditional Andean lunch.
05:00 PM (approx.) – Return to Cusco: Board our private transport for a relaxing journey back to the city, where we will drop you off safely at your hotel to conclude the tour.
