We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco around 8:00 a.m. and begin our journey toward the archaeological site of Moray. This impressive complex features a series of circular terraces resembling an ancient amphitheater. It is believed that the Incas used these terraces as an agricultural laboratory to study how different microclimates influenced their crops.

After exploring Moray, we’ll continue to the Maras Salt Mines, an incredible landscape of thousands of salt pools cascading down the mountainside. Since pre-Inca times, local families have harvested salt here by evaporating the mineral-rich water that flows from an underground spring.

Finally, we’ll participate in a salt ceramics workshop, where you’ll learn how artisans use Maras salt in their creative process to craft beautiful and traditional ceramic pieces. After this memorable activity, we’ll return to Cusco, arriving around 2:00 p.m.
