EXCELLENTVerified Once in a lifetime experience This was a challenging and very rewarding experience. Yaritza was an excellent guide. She was supportive and shared her love of hiking and Peru with us. We also had a cultural immersion experience prior to the trail that allowed us to see Peru culture, traditions, and learn some of the history. This was a highlight for everyone in our group. Modesto our chef cooked the best meals you could imagine on the trail. We were constantly amazed at the variety and amount of food we had. Modesto even baked a cake one night to celebrate getting through Dead Woman's pass. We were treated like royalty, and all of the porters on Narcisco's team were amazing. We loved seeing them on the trail as they hiked past us to get set up and ready for us at our next stop. Everyone was so kind and encouraging. We could not have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this tour.Posted onVerified An experience of a lifetime Me and group of friends decided to sign up for a trip of a lifetime. It was even more than that. I started up with our amazing tour guide Yaritza and magical team of porters and chef. Everything was perfectly planned out. You really didn’t have to worry about anything. The food was amazing the hike like she said it’s hard but doable and even when you wanted to quit, she found a way to encourage you to continue and in the end, you knew you just accomplished something that you never thought was possible. You make friends and memories and grow as an individual. I would definitely recommend her being a tour guide in Cusco.Posted onVerified Amazing hike! Did a 4 day Inca trail hike only women with Crossover, the trip was amazing!! Yaritza guide is wonderful. Took good care of us and looked after us well, it is difficult to have a demanding group but she handled it brilliantly. In a small group of course she needs to know where her people are. She is an experienced guide who has been on the Inca trail for 10 years and knows every step and story.David the chef is amazing, amazing how you can conjure up feast after feast in the mountains.Lorenzo and his group - one word wow! A group of 12 man, each more efficient than the other, carried the food, the equipment up and down. It was amazing to watch the porters leave after us in the morning but still arrive at the camps ahead of us and have already set up everything for us. They make sure that everything is in order. Recommend Yaritza, David and Lorenzo and his crew if you want to be sure of getting a 100% good experience.Thank you all!The only thing I felt a bit confused about was tipping the crew. I found it uncomfortable to figure out, coming from a country without a tipping culture or strong class divisions.
