Thank you for choosing Crossover Peru. We are committed to providing you with a safe, organized, and memorable travel experience in Peru. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before making any reservation or purchase.
By booking any service with Crossover Peru, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set forth below.
All prices are expressed in United States Dollars (USD).
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. However, once your reservation has been confirmed and payment received, the agreed price will not be modified.
Please note:
- All ticket prices include agency fees and applicable taxes.
- Payments made via PayPal include a 7% processing fee.
- Payments made by Visa include a 6% processing fee.
- These processing fees are already reflected in the final quoted price.
- Once a ticket has been purchased, it is non-refundable and non-transferable, except where explicitly stated otherwise.
- If Crossover Peru is unable to secure your ticket or service, a full refund will be issued.
- Once issued, tickets cannot be modified.
- An invoice and booking confirmation, including your reservation code, will be sent via email.
- Purchases are typically processed within 24 hours. During holidays or Sundays, processing may take up to 48 hours.
By submitting a reservation request, you acknowledge and accept these processing timelines.
Permits for the Inca Trail are strictly regulated by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture.
Once a reservation has been confirmed:
- No changes, modifications, cancellations, or waiting list adjustments are permitted.
- All Inca Trail bookings are governed by national regulations and are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable.
Crossover Peru does not provide travel insurance coverage. Confirmation or approval of any trip arranged by Crossover Peru does not imply that the traveler or any member of their party is insured under any policy.
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance within fifteen (15) days of submitting their initial deposit. Upon request, we are pleased to provide recommendations for reputable insurance providers.
A comprehensive travel insurance policy should include, at minimum:
- Trip cancellation coverage, which reimburses non-refundable air and land expenses in the event of cancellation due to personal or family emergencies.
- Emergency medical expense coverage.
- Emergency medical evacuation and repatriation coverage.
Travel involves inherent risks, and unforeseen circumstances may arise before or during your journey. Adequate insurance protection provides financial security and peace of mind in the event of medical emergencies, travel interruptions, or other unexpected events.
Clients acknowledge that they are solely responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance coverage and for reviewing the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions of their selected policy.
Crossover Peru strongly encourages all travelers to secure suitable coverage prior to departure.
By participating in any tour or activity organized by Crossover Peru, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with travel and adventure tourism, including but not limited to:
- Physical exertion
- Weather-related risks
- Altitude-related conditions
- Transportation-related risks
You voluntarily assume full responsibility for all risks associated with your participation.
Crossover Peru shall not be held liable for:
- Accidents, injuries, illness, or death.
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
- Delays or disruptions.
- Acts of negligence by third parties.
- Events of force majeure, including but not limited to strikes, political unrest, adverse weather, natural disasters, or governmental actions.
In cases of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, additional expenses incurred (such as accommodation, transportation, or rescheduling fees) shall be the responsibility of the client.
Due to the customized nature of our trip planning process, the following payment terms apply to all confirmed bookings:
Deposit
Deposit equivalent to hundred percent (100%) of the total tour package cost is required within days that the link will last following formal approval of the itinerary.
Payment of the deposit may be made by:
- Bank transfer or wire transfer to the account designated by Crossover Peru.
- Credit card payment.
Trip planning, reservations, and service confirmations will commence only upon receipt of the required initial deposit. Until such payment is received, no services or arrangements shall be considered confirmed.
Late Payment
Failure to pay the remaining balance by the established deadline may result in:
- Modifications to the original travel arrangements due to limited availability of tickets, accommodations, transportation, or other services.
- Cancellation of the trip in extreme circumstances.
Crossover Peru shall not be held responsible for changes in pricing, availability, or itinerary resulting from delayed payment.
Reservations will be confirmed once all required information has been provided, including:
- Full passport details (exactly as shown on the passport)
- Confirmed travel dates and any alternative dates.
- Proof of full payment.
If any required information is missing, confirmation may be delayed or declined.
Reservation confirmation may take between 2 and 48 business hours.
Standard Tours (Excluding Inca Trail)
- 60 days or more prior to departure: Full refund minus 20% administrative fee.
- 30–59 days prior to departure: 50% refund of total payment.
- 15 days or fewer prior to departure: No refund (considered a No-Show).
Inca Trail Tours
All Inca Trail bookings are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable due to government regulations.
Clients may request to postpone their trip under the following conditions:
- Written notification must be provided at least 30 days prior to the original arrival date.
- The trip may be postponed to any date within one (1) year of the original arrival date.
- A travel credit will be issued for the future trip.
Additional conditions:
- Clients are not required to select new dates immediately.
- Certain hotels or services may require advance booking due to high demand.
- If the itinerary includes the Inca Trail, postponement fees may apply.
- Crossover Peru does not cover price increases between calendar years; standard inflation and supplier rate adjustments apply.
- International and domestic airfare are subject to airline-specific postponement and cancellation policies.
- Hotels, trains, cruises, and large group bookings (10 or more participants) may have separate postponement terms.
- These conditions apply to the first postponement only.
- Postponements must occur within one year of the original arrival date.
- Standard cancellation policy applies if the client later cancels a postponed reservation.
By completing a reservation with Crossover Peru, the client affirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
Clients are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required travel documentation necessary for entry into and exit from the destination country or countries included in their itinerary. Such documentation may include, but is not limited to:
- Valid passport.
- Entry visas.
- Tourist cards.
- Vaccination certificates or immunization records.
- Any additional documentation required by local or international authorities.
Travelers are advised to verify entry requirements with the appropriate consulates, embassies, and/or governmental authorities prior to departure.
Travel with Minors
Passengers traveling with minors must ensure compliance with all applicable national and international regulations. Individuals under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult relative and must carry proper legal documentation as required by immigration authorities and international carriers.
Clients are encouraged to consult directly with their airline or international carrier regarding specific requirements for minors traveling domestically or internationally.
Passport Information
Crossover Peru will use the passport information provided in the booking form to secure reservations for hotels, flights, train services, and permits for the Inca Trail (where applicable).
If a client renews or replaces their passport after the reservation has been made, it is the client’s responsibility to:
- Notify Crossover Peru immediately of the updated passport information.
- Carry both the old passport (used for the original booking) and the new valid passport during travel, particularly when the itinerary includes the Inca Trail.
Failure to provide accurate and consistent passport information may result in denied entry to certain services or attractions, for which Crossover Peru shall not be held liable.
Crossover Peru does not provide travel insurance coverage. Confirmation or approval of any trip arranged by Crossover Peru does not imply that the traveler or any member of their party is insured under any policy.
